My mom's constant check-ins messed up my first Python script

She meant well, but the interruptions broke my focus. I learned to set clear coding hours with my family.

Wait what, you actually put a sign on your door? That's like college dorm stuff with the sock on the doorknob. It's wild to me that a piece of paper is still the best fix for getting your family to leave you alone. Most people I know just put on big headphones as a universal back off signal. A physical sign seems so formal for your own house.

Boundaries are key when you're deep in code... interruptions can really throw off your flow. I put a sign on my door during focus time... it cuts down on the well-meaning check-ins. Stick with it and your scripts will come together much smoother.
