I finally stopped trying to memorize everything
I used to think I had to know all the code rules from memory. It slowed me down a lot. Now I just look them up when I need them. My projects are getting done, and I feel less stressed. Guess that's progress.

Yeah the part about thinking you had to know all the code rules from memory hits home lol. I used to waste so much time trying to cram that stuff into my head, like I was gonna be quizzed. My brain's a sieve anyway, so half of it was gone by lunch. Now I just have a browser tab open for docs and my life is way easier. It's like I finally admitted I don't need a mental library, I just need to know how to google. Feels like unlocking a cheat code.

Honestly, this whole thing reminds me of how school makes you feel like you gotta remember every fact forever. Tbh, in real life, it's more about knowing where to look stuff up, like with cooking recipes or fixing things at home. Ngl, admitting that you don't need to know everything by heart is such a relief, just like with code. It's like we're all trained to be walking encyclopedias, but really, being good at finding answers is the actual skill. Once you get that, so many tasks get way easier.
