Hit 50,000 lines of code on my first project, didn't feel how I expected

Honestly, I just passed 50,000 lines on my personal weather app that I've been building since January. I thought I'd feel proud or something, but mostly I'm just shocked at how much of it is messy fixes and print statements. Ngl, the biggest surprise was realizing that 30% of that number is just me redoing the same date formatting over and over. It made me go back and delete almost 8,000 lines last week, which felt way better than adding them. Has anyone else hit a big line count and immediately wanted to delete half of it?
