Tried a new coolant mix and my machine threw a fit
I mixed up a batch of Blaser coolant at a 12 to 1 ratio like the jug said, thinking it would be fine. Ran it for a shift and the next morning the machine alarm was screaming about low pressure. Turns out the mix was too thin and the pump couldn't pull it right, had to drain the whole tank and start over. Anyone know a good starting ratio for Blaser in a Haas VF2, or is it just my old pump?

12 to 1" is way too thin, you must have read that wrong.

Wait, are we talking about the same thing? Because if you're telling me 12 to 1 is thin, @avery812, you've clearly never tried to spread a single pat of butter over an entire loaf of bread. That's the kind of math you get when you're desperate for a snack. I'm just saying, sometimes the numbers look crazy until you're actually in the situation.
