That $80 download for a post processor felt like a ripoff until I actually used it

I was dead set against paying for a post processor for my new machine, but after three days of manually fixing G-code (and crashing one tool), I caved and bought the Camotics one for my Haas. It cut my setup time from an hour to maybe ten minutes. Has anyone else found a tool they thought was overpriced but turned out to be totally worth it?

Think about how many times we cheap out on something small then end up spending way more time or money fixing the headache later. It's the same pattern I see with people buying bargain bin tools or skipping a proper inspection on a used car, always costs more in the end. Sometimes paying up front is just the smarter play to save your sanity and your wallet.

Three days of manual G-code" is exactly why I stopped fighting it and paid up.
