Switched from dry-cycling every tool to probing first, cut my scrap rate on the Haas to almost nothing
Ran a batch of 200 aluminum brackets in Rockford with dry cycles for 6 weeks and kept scrapping the first 3 parts every setup, so I started probing each blank and touching off with a Renishaw instead of trusting the offsets. Anyone else find that probing every part is worth the extra 40 seconds, or do you just trust one good setup?
