Spent $300 on a tool presetter and honestly it was a waste for my shop

Everyone raves about presetters for cutting down setup time, so I grabbed one from a local used tool dealer in Toledo. I ran about 40 jobs through it over two months, and it only saved me maybe 10 minutes per setup, not the hour folks claim. The dial indicator version I bought needs constant calibration checks, and my old method of touching off the part was just as accurate for what we do. Anyone else find these things only pay off if you're running tight tolerance work every single day?

Paid off for us within a month on repeat tooling, but we run tight stuff daily.
