Overheard a new guy say Mastercam is 'just typing' and I almost lost it
He said it after watching me spend 2 hours dialing in a feed rate on a 316 stainless part for a job out of Detroit. Has anyone else had to bite their tongue when someone who's never run a machine acts like the CAM software does all the thinking?

I just started handing them the code and asking where the crash would happen, then they usually shut up pretty quick. If they want to run it themselves, even better, let the machine teach them.
