My kid's Lego instructions made me rethink my setup sheets

I saw him follow the pictures step-by-step without reading a word and it clicked. Now I add simple photos to my run sheets and scrap is down 15% this month. Anyone else use more visuals on the floor?

Makes you realize how much we overcomplicate things for adults. I mean, my coffee maker has a little picture book for cleaning it and I actually do it now. Or at the airport, those footprints on the floor showing where to stand in line. Idk why we ever moved away from pictures, it's like we're all just big kids who get lost in paragraphs of text.

Funny how the kid stuff makes you feel dumb and smart at the same time. My guys used to mix up two similar looking fittings all the time, just a quick phone pic of the right one taped to the saw station fixed it. Should have done it years ago.
