I finally CNC'd a bottle opener from leftover stock.

Take this with a grain of salt, but it works better on cans.

So the design is meant for bottles but works better on cans, right? What exactly did you have to change in the shape or the hook part to make that happen, or is it just the leftover material being thicker?

Oh man, that whole process sounds like such a headache! I've been there with projects that just don't behave the way you planned. It's frustrating when you think you've got it figured out and then the material throws you a curveball. Did you have to redo a lot of prototypes before it clicked?
