Changed my mind about using coolant mist instead of flood

I always thought mist systems were a gimmick and stuck with flood coolant for everything. But after trying a KoolMist setup on a batch of aluminum parts last month, I'm sold on it for non-ferrous work. Has anyone else switched and noticed a difference in tool life?

I used to think mist was a gimmick too, guess I'm just slow to learn.

Got over my own suspicion about mist by trying it first on just one small area of the garden. @west.claire, that one experiment changed my mind completely because the plants in that spot bounced back faster on hot days. Now I reach for the mist nozzle more than anything else when the afternoon sun hits.
