A setup sheet comment made me recheck my tool offsets today

The night shift guy left a note saying my parts were running 0.002 oversized and I brushed it off until I measured the last batch. Turns out he was right, my presetter was off after I dropped it last Tuesday. Anyone else ever trust the machine readout over a written warning and regret it?
