That week in Portland where every bike lane felt like a maze

I mean, I get that they're trying to slow cars down with those planters and curb extensions, but last Tuesday I had to detour three times just to cross one intersection. The city spent $400k on this redesign and honestly it pushed more riders onto the busy road than it helped. Has anyone else dealt with these 'improvements' that just make the route worse?
