Put $800 into a heat pump water heater last spring and my electric bill dropped by half during summer

Honestly thought it was gonna be a waste of money but my utility bill went from $120 down to $60 in July. Has anyone else made the switch and seen similar savings?

Did you make sure to wrap the tank and pipes with extra insulation? That little trick got me another 10% drop in my winter bill. Heat pumps work way better when you keep as much heat inside as possible.

Changed my mind completely too after seeing those electric bills drop.
