My climate frustration peaked with today's commute

The bus was so full I couldn't get on, and the bike lanes were empty. It's like we have the tools but no one's using them right.

Read that and my jaw dropped. Empty bike lanes while people are stuffed into buses? @wesley761 nailed it with the unsafe lane design (like, who thought that was okay?). If you're afraid of cars or the lane just stops, you won't bike. We spend money on this stuff but forget to make it work for real people.

Ever wonder if the bike lanes are just badly placed or feel unsafe? Like maybe they end suddenly at a busy road or cars park in them all the time... makes the whole thing feel pointless even when you want to try.
