Guy at the community garden in Detroit showed me his rain barrel setup and I've been thinking about it all month
I was dropping off some old pots at the garden on East Grand Blvd and this older guy named Marcus started showing me how he hooked two barrels up to his downspout with a piece of gutter and a screen. He said he fills 110 gallons off one good storm and hasn't used the hose on his beds since May. I always figured rain barrels were a hassle but he walked me through the whole thing in like 10 minutes and it honestly looked easy. Does anyone here run one in a colder spot, and did the freezing ever crack yours?
