Found out my city's compost program is quietly killing it
Overheard a guy at the hardware store in Denver say our municipal compost cut his trash output to one bag every three weeks. I checked the numbers, and the city processed 4,000 tons last year. Anyone else's local program actually working better than the hype?

Wasn't sold on city compost before, but 4,000 tons is hard to argue with.
