My road trip mug got a new crack in Tennessee, it's even better now

I was driving through Knoxville last month and hit a massive pothole, my mug flew off the passenger seat and smacked the door handle. The crack runs right down the middle of the faded Route 66 logo, but it still holds coffee without leaking a drop. Anyone else have a mug that got a second chip and somehow became your daily favorite?

Ever notice how the stuff we keep using after it gets banged up ends up meaning more than the stuff we babied? Like, the crack becomes proof it actually went places with you, not just sat on a shelf looking pretty. That worn-in, held-together feel is way better than perfect anyway.
