I finally looked up the history of my favorite chipped mug

So I've got this old diner mug with a chunk missing from the rim that I've been using for years. Last week I got curious and looked up the logo on the bottom, turns out it's from a 1950s diner in Cleveland that closed down in the 70s. Found it at a thrift store for like $2 but now I feel kinda bad using it every day. Has anyone else looked up their mug's backstory and found something unexpected?

I saw a thing online about a guy who found out his favorite coffee mug was from a 1950s mental hospital in upstate New York. Apparently they had a whole set of them with the hospital logo. Made me realize that chipped diner mug probably saw a lot of weird early morning shifts and burnt coffee before it ended up in a thrift bin. Keep using it, that chip is just part of its story now.
