Shoutout to crews using plant-based creosote removers

Works just as well, no harsh chemicals down the drain.

My neighbor went full eco-friendly with her cleaning supplies a while back. She had constant drain problems from old chemical buildup. A simple vinegar and baking soda mix fixed it better than anything she'd bought before. That experience convinced me natural solutions often work without the side effects. Crews using plant-based removers probably avoid a lot of downstream issues too. What green products have you guys had luck with for other messy tasks?

That vinegar and baking soda trick @abbyfoster mentioned is solid for drains. For other messes, a paste of baking soda and a little water works on greasy stove tops and oven grime. Just scrub it on and wipe clean. For stuck-on labels or sticky stuff, plain cooking oil breaks it down without harsh fumes. It's surprising how much you can clean with stuff already in the pantry.

Tried that once and made a volcano in my kitchen sink.
