I finally ditched my old ladder hook method for a magnet system

Used to hang my brushes and scrapers off the ladder rungs with bent wire, worked fine until I had a gust of wind knock a wire brush loose on a job in Boulder last fall. Now I use a $12 magnetic strip on the side of my ladder truck, holds everything solid even when I'm up on a 40 foot extension. Has anyone else switched up their tool carry on ladders, or am I the only one who dealt with the clatter for that long?
