Hot take: I stopped using a full face mask for clean outs and it's way better
I got a bad cold last winter and couldn't stand the full mask fogging up, so I switched to just goggles and a good N95. Did a whole clean out on a 1970s ranch in Springfield like that. I was sure I'd be coughing for days, but honestly, I could see way better and move faster. The dust was fine, but the soot stayed put. Now I only use the full mask for really bad creosote jobs. Anyone else find the big mask gets in the way more than it helps on standard jobs?
