Hit 500 sweeps this season and it finally clicked

I was always one of those guys who just scraped and moved on, never really tracking numbers. But after my 500th chimney last Thursday over in Oak Ridge, I noticed the soot buildup patterns were way more predictable than I thought... turns out the seasonal humidity has a bigger effect than I gave it credit for. Has anyone else noticed a shift in creosote behavior after a certain milestone?

Hows the Oak Ridge humidity compared to where you were scraping before? Ive been doing this about 8 years and noticed the sticky stuff shows up way more when the dew point hangs around 60 all week. Just curious if your pattern matches up with the local weather station data or if youre going off feel.
