Bought a new camera pole for a tricky inspection and it snapped on the first job

I had a job in Springfield last week with a really narrow flue, so I spent $180 on a fancy flexible camera pole I saw online. Got it set up, started to feed it down, and the third section just cracked clean through. Had to pack up and reschedule the whole inspection, losing the fee and a half day's work. Has anyone found a brand that actually holds up under real use?

Man, that is the absolute worst feeling! I had a cheap pole snap on me years ago and it just kills your whole day, not to mention the hit to your wallet. I've been burned by those online ads for "professional" gear too. For what it's worth, I finally bit the bullet and got the Rigid brand inspection camera system, and that pole has been solid through some really tight spots. It stings to pay more upfront, but not having a job fall apart makes it worth it.

Ugh, tell me about it. I saw a video last week where a guy's whole setup failed mid-job because of a bad pole. Total nightmare.
