Serious question, did anyone else think the $4 Tuesday movie deal was fake until they actually tried it?

I kept seeing people online say the Regal near me does $4 tickets every Tuesday and I figured there had to be some catch like a membership fee or only for old movies. Last week my girlfriend and I finally walked in at 6pm, asked for two tickets, and the guy just said eight dollars total without blinking. We grabbed snacks from the dollar store across the street first and still got out of there for under $15 for the whole night. If you have been putting off cheap date nights because you think the deals are too good to be true, just call your local theater and ask. Has anyone found another chain doing something similar on a different night?
