My buddy talked me out of the $40 escape room and we had a better night with $6 in quarters

Met up with my friend Dave two weeks ago and he said the $40 escape room was a waste since we always finish in 35 minutes anyway. He dragged me to the arcade on 5th instead, and we dropped $6 in quarters on air hockey and that weird claw machine. Best part was we spent almost two hours there just messing around and nobody rushed us out. Honestly the cheap stuff always ends up being the night I remember. Anyone else got a spot where a few bucks goes way further than the fancy option?
