Cracked the handle on my 12 inch skillet and fixed it with a $6 part from the hardware store
Dropped my 12 inch Lodge on the garage floor last Tuesday while carrying it out to the grill. The handle cracked clean through right where it meets the pan. I almost tossed it in the trash, but my neighbor said to try a two part epoxy rated for high heat. A $6 tube of JB Weld later and let it cure for 24 hours, and that handle is solid as a rock. Did a test cook with bacon on medium heat and it held up fine. Anyone else ever glued a cracked handle back on, or am I just cheap?
