Tried a power stretcher on a job in Phoenix

I always used a knee kicker for residential rooms. Small spaces, figured it was fine. Then I did a 15x20 living room last month and could not get the seams tight. Borrowed a power stretcher from a guy on another crew and it made a huge difference. The seams laid flat and I finished an hour faster. Any of you guys switch later in your career?

Funny you mention that. I had a similar moment when I switched from a jigsaw to a track saw for cutting in the baseboards in a tricky old house. Took me years to realize the right tool can save you a lot of headache. Glad the power stretcher worked out for you.

Yeah I used to think any saw would do. This changed my mind.
