The power stretcher I thought was overhyped saved my back on a 1,200 sq ft job last Tuesday

I always used a knee kicker for everything, thinking the big stretcher was just for show, but after that massive living room in Arlington where the carpet kept wrinkling, I rented one and honestly it made the whole job cleaner in half the time, anyone else hold out on switching tools too long?

Same thing happened with my cordless drill. Bought the cheap one for years. Finally borrowed a friend's high torque model for a deck rebuild. Night and day difference. It's like we get stuck on what works until something forces us to try better.
