That one homeowner in Phoenix who watched me work for 3 hours straight
I was installing a big bedroom carpet in a house near Phoenix last spring, and the owner stood right behind me the whole time, not saying a word, just staring. After I finished the last seam, he finally goes "You didn't cut yourself once," then handed me a $100 tip and walked away. Has anyone else had a client do something weird like just watch you without talking the whole job?
