My latest job had an unexpected four-legged inspector

So today, I was setting up for a carpet job and the customer's cat wouldn't leave the padding alone! It kept jumping on the seams and got tangled in the threads, which was pretty funny. Has anyone else had a pet make their install into a comedy show?

That "unexpected four-legged inspector" bit is too real. I had a pup "supervise" me once and I nearly nailed my own hand to a baseboard. My dignity did NOT survive that job.

Oh man, the dignity thing is so true. My cat decided my tape measure was a snake and attacked it while I was marking a cut. I jumped, the saw skidded, and I put a huge gash in the door trim I was fixing. Spent the next hour filling and sanding while she napped on my tool bag. It's like they know the worst possible moment to "help".
