Found a whole bag of marbles under a 1950s carpet in Phoenix

I was pulling up this nasty old shag in a Phoenix bungalow last month and my knee landed on something lumpy. Turns out the previous owner's kid must have lost a whole cloth sack of glass marbles under the padding, and they'd been rolling around for decades. A whole cloth sack just rolling around under the padding for 70 years? That's wild. I can't get over the idea of someone's knee finding a lump that turned out to be a lost childhood.

Found a weird lump in my old couch once. Turned out to be a bag of marbles my brother lost years ago. That feeling of finding a lost piece of the past is just amazing.
