Warning: a job site radio station in Bakersfield messed up my whole measuring habit
Was framing a garage in Bakersfield last month and the crew had the radio locked on a classic rock station all day. Around 2pm a song came on with a beat that matched my tape pulls perfect, and I caught myself snapping the tape at 16 inches on the beat instead of the mark. Ended up with three studs off by a quarter inch before my lead noticed and told me to kill the radio. Now I measure in silence or with the radio off, has anyone else had music throw off their rhythm like that?
