Snapped my 24 inch framing level this morning on a job site in Phoenix
Caught a toe on a stack of 2x4s and watched it tumble off the second story scaffold. Anybody else managed to break a level mid-project or am I just unlucky today?

Pick yourself up and call it a sacrifice to the job site gods. That level had a good run, no doubt. A 24 inch framing level is a real workhorse, so losing one stings in a special way. At least you didn't drop a hammer on your face trying to catch it, that's a win in my book. Phoenix sun probably baked it brittle anyway.
