Reading an old union newsletter from the 80s and the journeyman wage was $14 an hour

Found it in a box at my dad's place. Adjusted for inflation, that's over $40 today, which really puts our current rate talks in a new light. What's the biggest change in pay or conditions you've seen in your area?

Heard a buddy's dad talk about getting a company truck and gas card back in the day, perks that just don't exist now.

Exactly, @caseyfox. Everything's a la carte now.
