I know everyone loves their cordless nailers, but my $400 battery framing gun was a total waste for my kind of work.

Cordless tools are great for some jobs but not for all day framing. The batteries just can't keep up with constant heavy use. You end up spending more time charging than working.

Yeah, @amy_robinson is totally right about the battery life. I mean, for quick trim work they're fine, but trying to frame a whole wall? My cordless gun just gives up halfway through. You need that constant air power for real all-day jobs.
