Update: the temp agency in Denver put me in a warehouse where the forklift guys bet on my lunch breaks
So I signed up with a staffing place off Colfax about 3 weeks ago and they shipped me to a box warehouse for $17 an hour. The forklift crew ran a pool on how long my 30 minute lunch would actually take, and one guy named Rick won $40 because I clocked back in at 22 minutes for 4 straight days. I only found out because Rick felt bad and bought me a Gatorade from the vending machine. Is this normal for temp gigs or did I just land in a weird building?
