That $200 online resume rewrite service was a complete waste

I paid a company called Resume Heroes $200 to fix my resume last spring, and they just stuffed it with buzzwords like 'synergistic leader' which got me zero interviews. I ended up rewriting it myself using a free template from my local library's career center and landed two callbacks within a month. Has anyone else had better luck with these paid services or are they all scams?

Did they promise a specific result like more interviews or just a standard rewrite?
