I was at the public library in Springfield and saw a guy quietly practicing his presentation in a study room.
He had his laptop set up and was just talking to himself, going through his slides. It looked like he was prepping for a big meeting or interview. I realized I always practice my own presentations in my office or at home, but the library is actually a perfect neutral space. It's quiet, you can book a room for free, and there's no pressure. It got me thinking about using public spaces more for work prep. Has anyone else tried practicing for something important in a library or another quiet public spot? Did it help with nerves?

Wouldn't you feel weird talking to yourself where people can see?

Honestly, practicing in a park once just made me self-conscious about the squirrels judging me.
