I switched from a standing desk to a regular one and my typing speed went up 15 words per minute
I used a standing desk for about two years because everyone said they were better for you. Last month I got tired of my legs hurting and went back to sitting. After a week my typing jumped from 65 wpm to 80 wpm. I think standing made me shift my weight around too much and mess up my rhythm. Has anyone else seen their work get worse with a standing desk?

Man, that sucks. I feel you on this one. My back would start killing me after two hours at a standing desk and I'd be leaning on one foot like a flamingo just to get through. My rhythm went totally to shit too, especially when I was typing up orders or emails with numbers in them. Sitting down I can just hammer it out without thinking about my legs.

Nah, posture matters more than standing vs sitting here.

Yeah @oliver_torres4 hit the real issue. If your body's off balance you're screwed no matter what kind of desk you use. Took me way too long to realize that locking my hips and keeping my ears over my shoulders fixed most of the pain without switching setups.
