I finally stopped applying to jobs on my phone at 11pm

Used to send out like 10 applications a night from my couch while watching TV. Thought I was being productive but my resume was full of typos and autocorrect disasters. Last month I actually sat down at my desk during daylight hours and tailored one solid application. Got a callback in 3 days from a company in Austin. Has anyone else noticed way better results when you actually put in focused time instead of just blasting out resumes?

Same thing with cooking - rushing through it never tastes as good as when you actually focus.

That whole "blasting out applications from your phone" thing is such a trap. I'd bet the focused one is what made the difference, not just the time of day you applied.
