Hah, the bad rep after asking for a raise is a classic move from management. I asked for more money last year and suddenly my 'team player' rating dropped. Now I just keep my head down and update my resume on the clock.

The team player rating drop after asking for a raise is just so obvious (and so messed up). Keithp61, that shift you mentioned is exactly why people stop trying. It feels like they want you to act like a happy robot who never needs anything. Morgan's plan to update the resume at work is honestly smart, because that bad rep sticks around. Makes you wonder what the point of those yearly reviews even is.
