Wasted 30 bucks on that cardboard 'fort building kit' from Amazon
I saw this kit online that promised special interlocking panels and pre-cut shapes for forts. Figured it would save me time and look way cooler than just taping boxes together. Opened it up and it was literally just five thin sheets of corrugated board with some weird notches cut in them, barely enough for a cat. My kid was more excited about the packing box it came in. Anyone else get tricked by one of those fancy fort kits or am I the only one?

Pretty sure those "special interlocking panels" are just the same corrugated board you'd get from a moving box lol. The notches are probably just cut with an X-Acto knife at the factory.

Notches aren't cut with an X-Acto, they use a die cutter at the factory. Still just overpriced cardboard though, you're not missing anything.
