Tried using a box cutter at a 45 degree angle for flap corners and my fort stayed up all week
I was just trying to get the flaps to fit tighter on a big moving box I got from U-Haul. Normally I just cut straight across but my hand slipped a little and the angle worked way better. The whole corner joint felt solid. Learned that a slight bevel helps the cardboard lock together without tape in some spots. Anyone else mess with cut angles on purpose?

Three kids and a box cutter later, 45 degrees is about the only angle I can reliably hit these days without losing a finger.
