TIL I used 47 boxes in my last fort and never even counted before

I was cleaning out my garage after my kid's fort fell apart (the cat claimed it as a scratching post, RIP). Started tallying up the boxes I grabbed from work and neighbors over a few weeks. 47. Honestly surprised me because I usually just grab whatever looks good and don't think about it. Anyone else ever count how many boxes go into a decent sized fort?

You know I never really thought about it either until I had to clean up after my kids. I grabbed boxes for months and just piled them up. It was like 30 something when I finally counted. You kind of just grab what looks good and it adds up fast.

So did you ever find yourself buying the same box over and over because it looked familiar in the store? Or did you actually start paying attention to the labels?
