Serious question, is there a right age to stop building cardboard forts?
I hit 34 years old last month and built a 3-story fort in my garage with moving boxes from a neighbor. My wife thinks I'm too old for this but I say there's no age limit on creativity. But then I saw a post from a dad in Ohio who let his 15-year-old build one and the kid got made fun of at school. So where's the line? Do you guys think there's a cutoff or should we let people of ANY age enjoy this?

The dad in Ohio thing is rough, but honestly that kid's school sounds like it sucks if they're clowning on someone for having fun. I'm 38 and my wife just walks around my latest fort like it's normal furniture now, so the line is wherever you decide it is in your own house.

Man, I feel that. My own fort game is weak though. Last time I tried building one, my cat just walked in and knocked the whole thing over. Took me twenty minutes to set it up, two seconds to destroy it. That's about right for me. Meanwhile my wife just stepped over the rubble and asked what's for dinner. So yeah, the line is definitely wherever you draw it in your own house. Or wherever your cat doesn't immediately wreck it.
