PSA: Don't trust that viral TikTok tip about using wet cardboard for curves

Some DIY influencer said wet cardboard bends easier for fort tunnels. I tried it on my kid's castle tower last weekend and the whole thing molded over in like 3 days. Stank up the living room so bad my wife made me toss the whole fort. Has anyone else fallen for a hack that just wrecked your build?

oh man the wet cardboard thing. i tried that for a halloween prop and it just turned into a soggy mess with black fuzz everywhere in two days. waste of cardboard and my wife's patience. better off just building it dry and taping the hell out of it.
