My cousin told me to use hot glue instead of duct tape on forts - he was right and it saved my Saturday
I was building a castle for my kid's birthday party last month and kept having tape peel off after an hour. He showed up with a hot glue gun and we had that thing standing solid through 8 kids playing around it. Anyone else ditch tape for glue on cardboard builds?

Glue guns are fine and all but how long does the build really need to hold up? Once the party's over the thing's going in the trash anyway.
