My 4 year old's fort collapsed 3 times last Saturday because I used packing tape instead of duct tape.
Tried to save $3 on tape and ended up spending the whole afternoon re-taping the same corner joints while my daughter just kept saying fix it dad, has anyone else learned this lesson the hard way?

did you at least try the 'tape slingshot' method where you shoot it across the room and pretend it landed perfectly? ... i once built a whole castle out of printer paper and scotch tape for my nephew and it collapsed before he even got to put the flag on top... felt like a real engineer that day

Built a bird feeder once. Tape gave out. Bird got nothing.
