Just realized taping the inside corners of my box fort made the whole thing way sturdier
My son and I built a two room fort out of about 14 moving boxes last Saturday, and the walls kept flopping inward every time he crawled through the tunnel between them. I tried more tape on the outside first and it still sagged, just pulled the flaps apart. Then I ran a strip of packing tape along the inside seam where two walls meet and pressed the corner tight, and that one change made the whole thing hold its shape. I did that on all 8 inside corners and the fort stood through a whole weekend of him and his buddy crashing into it. Kind of makes me wonder what else I was doing the hard way. What do you all use for the corners, just tape or do you cut little cardboard brackets?
